Not giving up, Vidyavan asked for another favor: he wished for a condition where only a god who was engaged in an act of intimacy with his wife could defeat him. Confident that no such god existed, Vidyavan believed he had made himself nearly invincible. Armed with this boon, he began terrorizing the heavens, the earth, and the underworld, looting treasures and causing immense suffering to the people.

The people, helpless and poor, approached the gods for help. However, none of the gods could intervene, as the conditions of Vidyavan’s boon made it impossible for them to act. Finally, Lord Ganesha stepped forward, assuring everyone that he would take on a form capable of defeating the demon.

To fulfill the conditions of the boon, Lord Ganesha transformed into Uchhist Ganpati, a tantric form. This form of Ganesha is depicted in a very unusual and symbolic way, often shown in an intimate position with his consort, Devi Vighneshwari.
